Cheap at the top, and the one that lists Viettel
Yesim in Vietnam
Yesim undercuts everyone at 20GB and 30GB, and its Vietnam page names three networks, Viettel included. Its unlimited plan names no cap. All three facts, in one review.

Which network does Yesim use in Vietnam?
three, Viettel included
Yesim's Vietnam page lists three operators for every plan it sells there: Vinaphone (LTE and 5G), Vietnamobile (3G and LTE) and Viettel (3G, LTE and 5G).
That makes Yesim the only travel eSIM we link whose own page names Viettel. Airalo and Holafly name VNPT. GigSky and Saily name nothing.
The catch: Yesim switches between the three on its own ("SwitchLess Networks") and does not promise which one you get at a given spot. If you need a line that is Viettel and nothing else, Viettel's own tourist eSIM is that line. Checked 2026.
The Yesim Vietnam plans
USD, checked 2026
| Plan | Price | Per GB | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1GB / 30 days | $3.00 | $3.00 | One cent over GigSky's 1GB, with 30 days instead of 7. |
| 3GB / 30 days | $8.40 | $2.80 | 91 cents over GigSky's 15-day plan. |
| 5GB / 30 days | $11.52 | $2.30 | The most expensive 5GB in the comparison. |
| 10GB / 30 days | $19.20 | $1.92 | Also the most expensive 10GB here. The value is at the top. |
| 20GB / 30 days | $26.40 | $1.32 | Cheapest 20GB here, $2.59 under Saily. |
| 30GB / 30 days | $33.60 | $1.12 | Nothing else in this comparison sells 30GB at all. |
| Unlimited / 1 day | $4.20 | — | Priced by the day from 1 to 30. "Speed may be limited" under the operator's fair usage policy; no cap is stated. |
| Unlimited / 30 days | $68.40 | — |
The shape here is the opposite of Airalo's. Yesim is cheapest at the top of the ladder and uncompetitive in the middle, where most people buy. If you want 5GB or 10GB, this is the wrong brand on price. Hotspot, per Yesim's page, "depends on operator".

Two reasons to buy this brand: the 20 to 30GB band, and a route into the north where you want a brand that at least lists Viettel. Everywhere else something cheaper exists. Prices and Trustpilot checked 2026, GigSky and Saily on their own pages.
Is Yesim unlimited really unlimited?
no published cap at all
Yesim's Vietnam unlimited plans are priced by the day, from $4.20 for one to $68.40 for thirty. The page says data speed "may be limited in accordance with the network operator's Fair Usage Policy". It does not say at what point.
Compare that to what the others print. Airalo: 3GB a day, then 1 Mbps. Saily: 5GB a day, then 1 Mbps. GigSky: 3.5GB a day, and its Unlimited is cheaper than Yesim's at 30 days ($65.99 against $68.40). Holafly: no daily number, but a stated 1GB-a-day hotspot allowance.
Yesim gives you a number for the price and no number for the product. If you want unlimited, the comparison page ranks the caps, and if you want cheap data, Yesim's own fixed 20GB and 30GB plans are better value than its unlimited anyway.
If you are here for the price, buy the fixed plans and skip the unlimited one: 20GB at $26.40 or 30GB at $33.60. For 10GB or less, GigSky is cheaper.

You want to know exactly which network you are on: Yesim switches between three. Airalo names one.
